MEMBERS' MOVIE NIGHT: WILD, with Reese Witherspoon March 9. 6:30-9pm

Date:

Wednesday, March 9, 2016 -
6:30pm to 9:00pm

We think you might like Wild with Reese Witherspoon. With the dissolution of her marriage and the death of her mother, Cheryl Strayed has lost all hope. After years of reckless, destructive behavior, she makes a rash decision. With absolutely no experience, driven only by sheer determination, Cheryl hikes more than a thousand miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, alone. WILD powerfully captures the terrors and pleasures of one young woman forging ahead against all odds on a journey that maddens, strengthens, and ultimately heals her.

We thought you might like to see this movie, directed by Emilio Estevez and starring his father, Martin Sheen. It's one of our favorite movies about the power of walking and of creating community. See below for a review. If you like, you can stay to discuss your thoughts on the movie afterwards.
