Guided Nature Hike

Saturday, May 25, 2013 - 8:45am to 11:30am

Hike with nature guide Dusty Reins who will point out various features of our resident plants and animals. Learn how they are reacting to drought conditions. Discover how native plants and animals play important roles within our ecosystem and learn how they were used by Native Americans. Learn how we are conducting systematic studies to determine the overall health and biodiversity of our native residents.

5th Grade Science Club

Tuesday, April 30, 2013 - 3:00pm to 4:30pm

The 5th Grade Science Club will be participating in a nature walk in search of our resident animals and the signs they leave behind. We will also learn about the natural food chain of plants and animals in our region and look for examples along our nature trails in addition to the specimens we have in our Visitor's Center.

Basic Indoor Photography Workshop

The Nature Center at Wildcat Bluff offers the perfect setting for Basic and Advanced Photography Workshops and Seminars. The classroom environment allows certain benefits that don't normally accompany working in the outdoors.

The Basic Photography Workshop is a Series of One and Two Day workshops led by Photographers Randall Derrick and Ashley Mann.

Workshops are available Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21 .. pick your day!!
