Join us February 23rd from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. as we welcome Bonnie Roos to our Cultural Conversations lecture series. What a perfect topic for us in this area. We hear Bonnie is a knowledgeable and captivating speaker!

We'll have our regular potluck and learn session.  Bring a dish to share and a beverage and come ready to listen and discuss with Dr Roos.

Join us this Saturday for our regular First Saturday Series!  We'll be taking a mid-day hike to the Bluff and back!  The hike is 1.7 miles round trip and is relatively flat.  Bring a snack to have midway and a water bottle and come see what's going on out on the trails this season.  Also, feel free to bring binoculars or a camera.  Sturdy shoes and weather appropriate gear are recommended.  Weather predictions are for a nice day.  We'll be joined by Haley - one of our WT volunteers!

Stephanie Oravetz is the owner and operator of Wildwest Wildlife Rehabilitation in Amarillo, Texas.  She'll be joining us to talk about the wildlife in the panhandle that she cares for and that we would be likely to see while we're out and about here in the Amarillo area.

Stephanie started working in the veterinary field at age 14 in the Dallas Forth Worth area.  She up the ladder fairly quickly to become an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician and Emergency Veterinary Technician before managing Veterinary Hospitals in her early 20's.

How many of us actually engage in questions like that without also immediately going to all the reasons why we can't, or shouldn't have what we truly want in life?  We're talking about soul-satisfying, heart's-desire sorts of things here.
