In this wonderful program, participants will receive training in all aspects of our native ecosystems from recognized experts in their field and an opportunity for advanced training in subjects that may be of special interest to them.
Locations vary throughout the Panhandle.
There will be an additional training day on May 16th.
The Amarillo Town Club's Chilly Hilly Half is one of Amarillo's most challenging, exciting and beautiful 1/2 Marathon & 5K races.
Starting at Wildcat Bluff Nature Center, the on-road course takes you up and down some of the areas most aggressive hills, while allowing you to take in the true beauty of the wide open Texas Panhandle.
"The tradition of Saint Nicholas' Day, on 6 December (19 December in most Orthodox countries), is a festival for children in many countries in Europe related to surviving legends of Saint Nicholas, and particularly his reputation as a bringer of gifts.
Come on out and enjoy the beauty of a moonlight stroll with us at Wildcat Bluff Nature Center on Wednesday October 8th, from 7 - 9 pm, or so. Mary Emeny will lead this hike. All are welcome to come and bask in the moonglow!
We will provide snacks, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. AND, feel free to bring whatever you'd like to share!
