Calling all Wildcat Bluff Photographers! We are looking for your best shots of Wildcat Bluff Nature Center.
Whether you snap with an app on your smartphone, or shoot with a big honking mega-camera or something in-between, we want to see your best stuff. No more than 3 pix per person: 8x 10 prints. Hang them up at our Sunset, Wildflowers and Wine potluck from 6:30 - 8:30pm, and the people will vote for their favorites. The top 12 will be used in our 2016 Wildcat Bluff Calendar. You'll get credit and our thanks!
7--9pm DryLand Dreamers will be doing a "wildcat," of a show at Wild Cat Bluff. Wildcat Bluff Nature Center is located just a little bit south of the Tascosa Road overpass on the West side of North Soncy. Bring a snack and or beverage to share (pot-luck style) and a camera for the sunset if you like. $3 per adult, $2 for kids 3 and over, and seniors 65 plus, unless you're a member - then it's free. And, it's okay to join at the event.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away (Ok, it was the 90's in Santa Barbara, CA), a group of friends and I used to host a monthly games day party. It was tons of fun and we thought we'd like to try something like that here as part of our Wednesday night Sunset, Wildflowers and Wine events.
So here we are. We've got Pictionary and Wildlife Bingo. We may find some other games too, and you can bring your favorites to try on us.
As usual, it's a potluck so bring food and drink to share.
