Spring means things are getting green and gardeners are ready to plant for another season of promise - Spring Break means that hands need something to keep them busy! Join us on Saturday from 10am-1pm - to help build a 3 sisters garden right here at Wildcat Bluff!
Ever wonder what you're really seeing and hearing out here - and what you may not be? Join an experienced staff member who will share the magic of the Panhandle with you, and answer as many of your questions as possible!
Of course, some of the mystery must remain in the silence...
Weather permitting, naturally...
Free to members. $5 for visitors ($3 for visiting children over 3 and seniors 65 and over.)
We love the DryLand Dreamers: Danny, Leon, and David will be doing their high energy musical thing: Americana, originals, and covers. And they've learned some festive songs just for us, so we can sing along in the spirit of the season!
Wildcat Bluff Nature Center is located just a little bit south of the Tascosa Road overpass on the West side of North Soncy, #2301.
Join us for a hike to the bluff and back after all that Thanksgiving feasting!
If you're like me and think pie is a food group, a nice hike after Thanksgiving is a good thing. Join me on Friday for a hike from 11 to noon. It'll be a great time to get the kids out and moving too during a long school weekend!
Bring your water and some sturdy hikers or tennis shoes and let's see what we can find on the trails!
Come join us for a pre-Thanksgiving Potluck dinner. We'll be sitting down together to eat, drink, be merry, and appreciative of the many rich gifts in our lives.
Do let us know if you are coming so we can plan food/drink. Space is limited.
We will provide a turkey, maybe two, the space, soft drinks, a couple of bottles of wine, and some non-alcoholic options. You provide all the fixin's and whatever else you think you'd like share to eat and drink.
